Key activities
Review of data requirements for the department and working with others to improve and develop more modern solutions for data presentation and insight (30%)
Delivery of data management solutions, including for social care delivery and innovative interactive products and business intelligence solutions (30%)
Supporting the Assurance and Service Improvement Manager on the preparation of data for assessments and the delivery of improvement projects (20%)
Training and mentoring of staff to improve the collation and presentation of data through the use of modern tools e.g. Power BI (10%)
Supporting the Directorate’s Performance Management Officer in the development and presentation of key performance management information (10%).
Carry out other duties appropriate to the grade of the post.
Essential qualifications/ knowledge
Degree level qualification in Data Science or other relevant subject to data management and innovation.
Knowledge of data management and quality assurance processes.
Knowledge of legislation and policy related to systems and data management
Desirable qualifications/ knowledge
Knowledge of Adult’s Services
Essential experience
Project management of data management or digital products
Identifying effective solutions to service/business problems and to the organisation of complex and extensive data management
